Custom nosings - the detail most jobs skip
Most LVP manufacturers don't ship a matching stair nosing, which is why a lot of vinyl stair jobs look unfinished at the front edge. We handle that two ways: factory-color nosings when a manufacturer offers one, and custom-milled nosings cut from the same plank when they don't.

Installation that won't squeak or lift
Vinyl stair jobs fail two ways: poor adhesion at the nosing, or a substrate that wasn't leveled first, which shows up later as a squeak on every step. We use polyurethane construction adhesive plus hidden mechanical fasteners behind the nosing, and we skim-coat any uneven treads before the plank goes down.

Modern LVP is embossed with a low-slip micro-texture designed specifically for stair use - it grips better than a polished or polyurethaned wood tread.
In most cases, yes. We strip whatever's currently on the stairs down to the treads and evaluate them before installing, replacing any that are damaged.
Not when installed correctly - we re-secure every tread and add construction adhesive before laying the plank, which usually makes the staircase quieter than it was before.
The same employed crew handles stairs and level floors alike - we don't hand stairs off to a separate specialty sub.
